Float Glass

Basic flat glass used as a building block for other types of glass.

Laminated Glass

Consists of two or more layers of glass bonded with a plastic interlayer, providing safety and sound insulation.

Smart Glass

Incorporates technologies like electrochromic or photochromic materials to control light & heat transmission dynamically.

Low-Emissivity Glass

Coated to reduce heat transfer, improving energy efficiency in buildings.

Patterned Glass

Has a textured surface for decorative or privacy purposes.

Insulating Glass Units (IGUs)

Composed of two or more panes of glass separated by a spacer, sealed to be airtight, providing thermal and sound insulation.

Toughened Glass

Similar to tempered glass but with additional processes for enhanced strength, used in high-stress environments.

Tempered Glass

Heat-treated to increase strength and safety, often used in windows, doors, and facades.

Decorative Glass

Includes etched, frosted, or colored glass used for aesthetic applications in interiors and exteriors.

Plant Operations

At Sterling Glass Creations, our architectural glass manufacturing operations are highly automated, managed by skilled technicians who ensure every process runs smoothly. Quality control is at the heart of what we do, with rigorous inspections at every stage to guarantee that each piece of glass meets our exacting standards. We adhere strictly to safety protocols, given the high temperatures and materials involved in production. Our sophisticated facility, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, allows us to produce a diverse range of high-quality glass, perfectly suited to the unique demands of the construction and architectural industries.

Tempered Glass

Tempered glass is heat-treated to enhance its strength and safety. It breaks into small, blunt pieces rather than sharp shards.

Thickness Range: 4mm to 25mm
Color Options:
 Clear, Low-iron Starphire, Grey, Bronze, Acid-etch frosted, Low-iron Acid-etch, Grey Acid-etch, Bronze Acid-etch.

Benefits:
• High strength and safety
• Thermal and impact resistance
• Suitable for areas with high safety requirements

Applications:
• Shower doors
• Glass railing
• Facades and curtain walls
• Automotive windows
• Balustrades

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass consists of two or more layers of glass bonded with a plastic interlayer, usually PVB (polyvinyl butyral).

Thickness Range: 6mm to 80mm (depending on the number of layers)
Color Options: Clear, low-iron starphire, grey, bronze, frosted, decorative interlayers

Benefits:
• High safety and security
• Sound insulation
• UV protection
• Holds together when shattered

Applications:
• Skylights
• Storefronts
• Bulletproof windows
• Floors and stairs

Low-Emissivity (Low-E) Glass

Low-E glass has a special coating that reflects infrared light, thus keeping heat inside or outside, depending on the climate.

Thickness Range: Typically 4mm to 6mm, often used in IGUs
Color Options:
Clear, neutral, slight tints

Benefits:
• Energy efficiency
• Reduces heating and cooling costs
• Minimizes UV fading

Applications:
• Windows and doors
• Curtain walls
• Skylights
• Insulating glass units

Patterned Glass

Patterned glass features textures or designs rolled into the surface during production.

Color Options: Clear, bronze, grey, various patterns

Benefits:
• Provides privacy while allowing light transmission
• Decorative and aesthetic appeal

Applications:
• Interior partitions
• Bathroom windows
• Decorative panels
• Furniture

Insulating Glass Units (IGUs)

IGUs consist of two or more glass panes separated by a spacer, sealed to be airtight, providing thermal and sound insulation.

Thickness Range: Varies based on the number of panes and spacer width (overall thickness from 12mm to
52mm or more)
Color Options:
 Clear, tinted, Low-E coatings

Benefits:
• Energy efficiency
• Reduces condensation
• Enhances acoustic performance

Applications:
• Residential and commercial windows
• Curtain walls
